Welcome to the webpage of the Schmittmann-Kolleg student dormitory!

The Schmittmann-Kolleg is a privatly owned and (for the most part) self-administrated student dormitory in the south of downtown Cologne. It offers 24 individual rooms with shared facilities to students wishing to study in Cologne or nearby. Currently we have a very mixed set of residents from many different fields of study and also countries.

One of the unique offers is the semester-program, which is composed of a series of interesting lectures and small trips all organized by one elected student. This is not only very interesting, but also helps getting to know the other residents quickly. Hopefully you will feel right at home!
